My latest career shift

It's the biggest one yet.

It feels surreal to sit down and type these words. After spending 17 years as an employee, I’m embracing life as an independent contractor. A free agent. Totally self employed. It’s a lifestyle I’ve considered for a few years, but one I never thought I’d have the courage to adopt. *Huge* thanks to Cabot for supporting this transition by pledging to become my first client—alleviating the financial risk associated with this career shift has been a game changer.

Long story short, I launched Mayo & Co on March 1! My ultimate goal is to help brands connect with golfers more effectively. Whether that means working with them to tell better stories, helping them define who they are and why they matter, or strategizing eye-catching and buzz-worthy partnerships, all I truly want to do is help great brands grow. Because their growth means golfers like you and I (and folks who have never even considered the sport) get to enjoy the game more than we already do. Isn’t that the coolest?
